Sometimes you Win, Sometimes you Lose

  • Mood: Shame
I'm beating myself up for getting a 1 on my Calc. AP Exam. I know I should be happy that I passed Psych with a 5 and U.S. History with a 4, but I can't bring myself to see that. I'm disappointed in myself. I got a 3 in English.

English is one of my favorite subjects, but I barely passed. When I see some of my friends that passed Calc. with a 4 or English with a 5, I just feel fierce envy bubble up, only to spill over to self-pity.

When my parents saw the English 3/Calculus 1, they didn't seem to happy either. While I was excited that I did get a 4/5, the bad overpowered the good.

Now, I just feel under-accomplished; like I could have done so much better if I just didn't give up on myself. It's a horrible sense of regret that's going to haunt me until I realize that I'm not perfect.

Having a vast superiority complex, this is a very wearisome task.

It's no use crying over spilt milk, but once in a while, you need to.

Well, does your school accepts 3s? Even though you didn't do as well as you thought you should of in your favorite subject, it's still a good thing to get that subject knocked down from your list of "mandatory college classes".

Sorry about the Calculus exam, though. I never took it as an AP, but if I did I don't think I'd even get a 1. :<

Thank you for those uplifting words. ;//w//;

My favfav subject was psychology, so I'm really happy that I got a 5 in that.

English is such an easy subject for me, I just didn't expect to score so low.

Ahhh, it might take a while for me to get over it, but I think I'll eventually will. ; w ;

There are 2 types of people in AP classes.

A. The egomaniacs who really love to push themselves and really love to see themselves come out on top.

or

B. The "follow-the-leader" types who join because their friends are in it and think it might be fun.

I'm the A-type who hates the taste of defeat. I am assuming since I am your friend, you have many more like me. As such, we have some sort of neurological problem with losing.

A severe problem.

Somehow, talking about myself in a collective group of egomaniacs makes me feel better.

Joyce Joyce Joyce. Just be happy that you got out of this hell hole. You were the smartest one here, which made you the smartest of the idiots. That if anything should piss you off. But the ap test is you versus the country. Slap yourself for me please. One day you will learn that you cannot be the beat at everything. Maybe the best at a lot of things, but not at everything.

You love English, sure, english. "Uneducated" civil war soldiers new English better than we do. Since when did the class or a damn test truly define your capacity or utility for English?

Screw math. That is palmdale's fault. They have the suckiest math program in the LA county.

Oh, and to the rest of you who baby her, you're only feeding her complex. One likes to pretend that they are in control and when ther control fails they panic or slip into dismay. No I refuse to let Joyce fall into that.

Joyce you're a strong chick an this is why I'm telling you this.

Get over yourself. You are much to intelligent to let this crap take up any more of your tome or energy.

Thank you very much.

It's beautiful to know that someone can catch me if I fall.
And pick me back up.

I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Please, I owe it to you. You hve helped me so much. What did you want to be again?

You would make a great therapist, or is it pysichiatrist? You listened to me all those times, and allthough you never gave advice you led me to my own conclusions. I swear you would be a huge success. But hey. Ppl like you and me are strong, but who do we get to fall on? Each other, lol.

Hahaha, nobody else has quite the right equipment to pick up our great, yet, malformed egos. Nobody, of course, except those of our own kind.

It's cruel, but fitting.

I have to thank you, once again.

It's rather amazing what a handful of words can do.

The sad thing is that everyone does has the information to help us, they just can't give it to us. We have to observe it from them, and if we're lucky, we can meet somebody like us who observes, and just happens to be in their right mind when we are down. But with that, I say you are welcome. Glad I could be of service.
